Terms of Service
Effective date: September 19, 2026 · Last updated: September 19, 2026
These Terms govern your use of GRADuateML, operated by GRADuateML ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your information and forms part of these Terms.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may use GRADuateML only with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or school that has agreed to these Terms on your behalf. Where local law sets a higher age of digital consent, that age applies instead.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your password secure, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at graduateadmin@gmail.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission. One account is for one person; accounts may not be shared, resold, or transferred.
2. Subscriptions, billing, and automatic renewal
GRADuateML offers a free tier and paid plans. Current plans are Pro at $15 / month or $132 / year, and Suite at $120 / month or $299 for 3 months. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax we are required to collect.
Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel.
When you subscribe, we charge your payment method the amount shown at checkout. The subscription then renews automatically at the end of each billing period - monthly, every three months, or every twelve months depending on the plan you chose - and we charge the then-current price for that plan each time. The exact renewal cadence and amount for your plan are shown at checkout before you pay, and in Settings afterwards.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from Settings, without contacting support and without explaining why. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not prorated.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We may change prices on notice; a price change takes effect at your next renewal, never mid-period, and you can cancel before it applies. If a payment fails we may retry it and may suspend paid features until it succeeds.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the code execution sandbox to attack, scan, mine cryptocurrency on, or otherwise misuse our infrastructure or anyone else's
- Attempt to escape the sandbox, escalate privileges, read other users' data, or circumvent rate limits, quotas, or paywalls
- Scrape, bulk-download, republish, or resell our curriculum, problems, solutions, test cases, or newsletter content
- Share your account, or use one account for an organization or class
- Upload malware, or content that is unlawful, infringing, or abusive
- Use the service to build a competing dataset or product, including training a model on our content
- Interfere with the service's operation or its security features
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you submit - your code, your project work, your resume, your messages to the AI Mentor. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display that content only as far as we need to operate the service for you: running and grading your code, generating feedback, and showing you your own history.
If you publish a proof profile, you are choosing to make the information on that page available to anyone who has its link. You can unpublish it at any time.
You are responsible for having the right to submit what you submit. Do not upload confidential information belonging to an employer or anyone else.
5. Our content and license to you
The curriculum, problems, reference solutions, test cases, written explanations, newsletter issues, and the software behind GRADuateML are owned by GRADuateML or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws.
While your account is in good standing we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use them for your own learning. That license does not include redistributing them, publishing them, using them to teach a paid course, or using them to train a machine learning model.
6. AI features
The AI Mentor, diagnostics, resume tooling, career copilot, interview loops, and generated practice problems are produced by large language models. We currently send the relevant input - your code and problem context, your resume text, or your interview audio - to OpenAI to generate these outputs. See the Privacy Policy for what is sent and when.
AI output can be wrong, and you must not rely on it as professional advice.
Model output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and the same prompt can produce different answers. Resume and career features generate suggestions, not statements of fact: you are responsible for checking that anything you put on a resume or say to an employer is true. Nothing the service produces is legal, financial, immigration, or employment advice, and we do not guarantee any interview, job offer, salary, or other outcome.
7. Code execution
Code you submit runs in a sandboxed environment with time, memory, and process limits. The sandbox is a shared, best-effort environment: do not run anything in it that you cannot afford to lose, and do not put secrets, credentials, or personal data of others into it. We may terminate any execution that threatens the stability or security of the service.
8. Third-party names and trademarks
GRADuateML names real companies in its interview preparation, company intelligence, and resume features. Those names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the companies being described, which is a descriptive, nominative use.
GRADuateML is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any company, university, or employer named anywhere on this site.
Information about a company's hiring process is compiled from public sources and from candidate reports. It is labeled with where it came from where we have that label, it is not confirmed by the company, and it may be out of date. Treat it as a starting point for your own research, not as fact.
9. Third-party services
We rely on third parties including Supabase, Stripe, OpenAI, Brevo, Vercel, and Fly.io. Their availability and their own terms are outside our control. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and are not endorsements.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the content is accurate or complete.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GRADuateML will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, employment opportunity, or business, arising out of or relating to the service, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any non-excludable statutory consumer right. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GRADuateML from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service, your breach of these Terms, your content, or your violation of anyone else's rights.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using GRADuateML at any time and may delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we terminate your paid plan other than for breach, we will refund the unused portion of the period you have paid for.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination do so, including sections 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, and 15.
14. Copyright complaints
If you believe material on GRADuateML infringes your copyright, send a notice to graduateadmin@gmail.com or to the postal address below, including: your contact details; identification of the work you say is infringed; identification of the material and where it is on the site; a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorised; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature.
We will remove or disable material in response to a valid notice and will terminate repeat infringers. If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
Before filing anything, please email us at graduateadmin@gmail.com and give us 30 days to resolve the problem. Most disputes are resolved this way.
If we cannot resolve it, you and GRADuateML agree that any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Okaloosa County, Florida, and both of us consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. You may still bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies. If you are a consumer outside the United States, this section does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws or the courts of the country where you live.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version here and change the "Last updated" date. If a change materially reduces your rights or increases your obligations, we will give you reasonable notice by email or a notice in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the change. If you do not accept it, cancel your subscription before it takes effect.
17. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and GRADuateML about the service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
